We make wooden toys for fun and learning. We have fun making them, and even more fun testing them with kids.

Our products are made by local artisans on Bowen Island, near Vancouver, British Columbia. As an official supplier to Santa Claus, we take our work very jovially.

MacWickie’s Wooden Toys are solidly-built and reasonably priced. As much as possible they are handmade from natural materials. All toys can be finished with natural stain or colours. Other woods can be used (oak etc.). Wheels are of proper load-bearing tolerance. The joints are sturdy, the paints and varnishes are non-toxic, and most importantly they’re endorsed by happy kids.

With their traditional designs and fine finishing, many MacWickie pieces would also be at home in a well-furnished home among antiques. Your choice of colours and in some cases types of wood can complement the home you have already or the one you have in mind. (As computer monitors vary, the colours you see here may differ from the actual toys.) We'll also be happy to discuss ideas for custom toys with you.
